About Mrs. Gott
I have a B.A. in Elementary Education K-8, 24 years experience teaching 3rd-6th grades. I have been the Superintendent of Sunday School for 3 years and a Sunday school teacher for 13 years.
I believe every child is a masterpiece of God and is a unique, gifted individual. I believe each child has the ability to learn. My goal as an educator is to plant seeds for Christ and meet students individual learning needs. My desire is they grow in faith and knowledge.
I am daily watching the hand of God work in my life as well as my family’s. It makes my heart smile to know that Jesus became my own Lord and Savior at the age of the children I am teaching. It deepens my conviction that the Lord has a plan for each of our lives. My prayer is that I will keep my eyes focused on Christ so my feet will follow His path and fulfill His plan for me. I have been teaching at Canyonside for 17 years now.
I am married to my fantastic husband Dan for 32 years now. I have a daughter Keri, son-in-law Tom, Grandson Christian who is 12 years old and Granddaughter Mallory who is 3 years old. I also have a son named Justin. In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking, fly fishing, camping, aerobics, and jogging.
“Don’t dig up in doubt what you planted in faith.”
