 About Mrs. Clover Smith

I like to Emphasize flexibility, strength building & endurance through regular stretching, weight bearing exercises and running.

Scripture teaches us God is the creator of our body, mind, and soul. I want to teach the children that life & health are given by God & emphasize that we should treat our mind, body and soul as vessels of the creator.

I am married to my wonderful husband Brian and we have three beautiful children Taylor, Kinsey and Brock. I enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, and doing physical fitness activities. This will be my fifth year teaching at Canyonside.

Technology

Canyonside Christian School takes great pride in teaching technology to our students.  We want them to be prepared for a world that is rapidly changing. CCS Students have Technology one time per week but are given multiple opportunities throughout the week to work on the computer in class. CCS Curriculum is integrated into a variety of technology projects.

Extra Practice:

PE

At CCS, we believe physical activity is so important. Our students participate in PE weekly. During PE, Mrs. Clover emphasizes flexibility, strength building & endurance through regular stretching, weight bearing exercises and running. Scripture teaches us God is the creator of our body, mind, and soul. Mrs. Clover’s goal is to teach our CCS students that life & health are given by God & emphasizes that we should treat our mind, body and soul as vessels of the Creator. Students participate in a variety of fun activities each week.

 Library

We know how important it is to encourage reading at all levels. At CCS, our students K-4 – 5th Grade, attend Library weekly. It is our goal to facilitate a life-long love of reading and to encourage students to read on a regular basis. Our students often check out “Book Adventure” books which they are able to read and test their reading comprehension.
